OJIPI swimsuits are manufactured to JASPO (Association of Japan Sorting Goods) specifications. Sizing conforms better to conventional sizing standards. And, importantly, the OJIPI swimwear fits larger than our standard REALISE brand.

OJIPI Rubberized swimwear has a thinner polyurethane coating over the fabric backing than the REALISE swimwear. The good news: the OJIPI thinner coating means the fabric has more stretch and fitting-forgiveness than the REALISE swimwear. The down-side: the coating is more delicate than that on REALISE swimwear. Greater care is required when putting on or taking off the rubberized suits. Watch your finger nails!

Normally, Japanese sizes are 1 to 2 sizes smaller than USA sizes. But REALISE swimsuits are small, even for Japanese sizes, so our size chart has been adjusted.

CAUTION: The Shiny Rubberized urethane coated material has limited stretch. It should not be over stressed, as the upper material can separate. See Fabrics for a full description. If you are between sizes, order a size up.

The Knit materials behaves like a conventional swimsuit knit. It is more stretchy than the shiny rubber material, and can be worn slightly smaller (up to about a half size, depending on your comfort).

A. Height – stand up straight and measure from the crown of your head to the sole of your foot.

B. Body Length – in a loop, measure from the highest point of the shoulder, beneath the crotch and back up to the starting point.

C. Bust – take measurement over the fullest part of your bust line.

D. Waist – measure around the narrowest part of your waistline.

E. Hips – measure around the fullest part of your hips.
